It is a simple blend of dried green lemons grown by Ishigami Farm in Cape Tsui, the southernmost tip of Miyazaki Prefecture, and black tea from the Sabaragamuwa region of Sri Lanka.
While there are many requests for black tea blended teas, we chose lemon tea as a tea that allows you to fully enjoy the botanical taste that is typical of E CA QUI.
■ Authentic lemon tea is always easy and delicious
Even if you want to drink lemon tea, it takes a lot of time and effort to slice raw lemons into rings and float them in tea. In order to make it easy to enjoy authentic lemon tea at any time, lemons are cut into rings, dried, and blended with black tea in a size that is easy to separate with a teaspoon.
In addition, the white part of the peel that causes bitterness is removed to the extent that it can be processed and dried thoroughly, so the bitterness is slower than that of raw lemon.
■ Received the southern sun, when tea and lemon meet
For the tea, I chose the Sabaragamuwa region, which was once classified as the Ruhuna region in the southern part of Sri Lanka. The bright flavor reminiscent of tropical fruits goes well with the freshness of lemon.
Enjoy the refreshing taste of lemon, tea, and botanicals grown in the southern sun.

For citrus fruits that add a refreshing acidity and aroma, we use lemons grown by Ishigami Farm in Cape Tsui, the southernmost tip of Miyazaki Prefecture.
Lemon is a delicate fruit that changes its taste and becomes astringent when chemical fertilizers are used. Yuji Ishigami, who runs a farm with his parents, wanted to deliver as delicious lemons as possible, so he started growing lemons without fertilizer and without pesticides during the cultivation period. Of course, there is no wax on the peel.
