AKITADA HAMASAKI
The 5th generation of Kusujoya Shoten, which has been in business for 120 years. After graduating from Tokyo University of Agriculture and working as a photographer https://www.hama-saki.com/, his father, the fourth generation, passed away in 2018. As the fifth generation, he inherited Kusunokiya Shoten. He is struggling to survive as a local soy sauce and miso shop.
Miso making is held 20 times a year at nursery schools, kindergartens, and community centers in Tottori City, and while steadily expanding its fan base, it is also energetically working to develop new products that are sold at select shops outside the prefecture.
His hobbies include skiing, soccer, movies, and art appreciation.
