◆ Ashitaba Sauce Birth Story ◆
This Ashitaba sauce is the product that led to the founding of Mamma Naturals. At that time, the representative Arai was a single mother and was struggling with food costs, so she thought that if there were leaves growing in the garden tomorrow, she would somehow eat them deliciously. When I tried tearing off the leaves raw and taking a bite, the herb-like bitterness and freshness spread in my mouth. I had an idea, "If I make a sauce like Genovese, it should be delicious!" and chopped the leaves tomorrow and combined them with olive oil and garlic to make a paste. When I mixed it with freshly boiled and hot pasta, it tasted better than I had imagined. My daughter, who was 3 years old at the time, and her friends liked it, so we started selling it at a local farmer's shop.
On the other hand, at the time, I couldn't work outside because of my chemical sensitivity, so I decided to make this my job. This is how Mamma Naturals started.
