The activity, which began in Laos in 2016, developed into Hainoko Coffee in 2018.
Currently, we handle specialty coffee from nine Asian countries, including Myanmar and Nepal, and roast the beans in-house to realize "Seed to Cup".
Giving back to producers, environmental conservation, respect for local culture, and diverse deliciousness. Valuing these four things, we deliver "total quality" coffee, as well as the nature of the production area and the thoughts of the people who live there.
(1) Contribute to the stability and improvement of producers' livelihoods through fair returns.
For those of us who value production areas and producers, equitable return to producers is the most important theme.
We value that the coffee beans we handle contribute to the stability and improvement of the lives of producers
(2) Reducing the burden on the environment and enhancing the sustainability of the global environment
For us, which began with efforts to combat deforestation in mountainous areas, environmental conservation is a theme that can be said to be the starting point. We will support production areas facing risks such as climate change and enhance the sustainability of the global environment as a whole.
(3) Respect the culture of the production area and contribute to the improvement of the local community.
Every production area has its own production area and unique lifestyle culture, and at the same time, it has its own challenges. We understand the differences in the culture and issues of the production area.
We will understand and actively collaborate with those who are working to solve local issues and strengthen local communities.
(4) Pursue the diverse flavors of coffee together with all people
Coffee beans are an agricultural crop that comes from the field. Different climates of the year have different aromas and tastes. We will expand the ways to taste and enjoy the diverse flavors of coffee, which change from region to region and year to year, with a value that is more than homogeneity.
