Meiho ham is a pressed ham manufactured by Meiho Special Products Processing Co., Ltd. in Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture, and is characterized by the fact that it uses 100% domestic pork, does not use preservatives, and does not use additives as much as possible. We purchased the leftovers generated in the ham manufacturing process and developed it in collaboration as a sustainable upcycled product.
Domestic pork that has been carefully salted and aged by hand is used. It was slowly simmered in oil with shiitake mushrooms and kelp.
Enjoy the umami trio of salt pork, kelp, and shiitake mushrooms. It can be used as a snack for Japan sake or as a side dish for rice.
