A rich lemon yellow white wine that is close to straw color. The aroma is firm and voluminous, but delicate and rounded, with notes of white peach, quince and citrus, accompanied by shades of herbs, lilies and other white flowers and minerals. The mouthfeel is smooth, and the finish maintains a dry outline while having lively citrus notes.
A breathtakingly beautiful panorama where the sky, sea and earth come together. The grapes used in the wines of Ansonica 24 are carefully grown in ancient vineyards on the stunning coastline of Maremma, near Grosseto, Tuscany.
Terroir Features
The soil is mostly sandy, partly clay and loam (high clay chamber soil) and uses the Guiyo method.
We use farming methods that respect the natural cycles, vines and their environment. Only organic fertilizers are used, and pest control is only copper and sulfur treatment. Harvest in the second half of September.
brewing
10% of the total is used as a starter to promote alcoholic fermentation, "pied de cuve", and fermented for one week. The temperature of the remaining grapes is controlled to 19°C, resulting in a white wine. After that, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 3 months with fine lees. Decanting is carried out in the spring after harvest and bottled.
