We started this company with the desire to incorporate the traditional food culture of the region into modern life. In every region, there is "food" that has been popular for a long time, and all of them should be kind to the body and the environment. For example, "brown sugar" has been made in Shimanto for more than 200 years. Sugarcane grown on sandy soil by rivers and seas without pesticides and using only organic fertilizers is harvested one by one, juiced, and cooked for six hours using firewood. The entire process is done manually. It doesn't use electricity or gas. It is a very environmentally friendly manufacturing.
In addition, since it does not use any additives, it is a "brown sugar" that is gentle on the body. However, it is rare to use "brown sugar" in the current diet. But I want you to use those kinds of foods. I want to create an environment that is as easy to reach as possible. That's my thought.
I believe that the traditional food culture that can be found in any region has the power to enrich the minds and environments of people living in modern times.

We offer the traditional food culture found in every region, remade and offered to suit modern life. Even though it's dashi, it doesn't really feel like dashi. Simple and won't get in the way even when placed on the kitchen or dining table. It makes you want to give it to someone as a present. This is the concept behind it.
