The Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011 ... In addition to the large earthquake, there was enormous damage caused by a large tsunami. Everything was washed away in the Kesennuma Bay area.
We came together out of nowhere with the hope that we could help with the restoration and reconstruction of Kesennuma, and under the keyword of "community building through craft beer".
Among them were a businessman from Kesennuma, a community development professional from Hokkaido, a craft beer and restaurant business professional from Tokyo, and an American who fell in love with the Japan culture and Kesennuma and dreamed of moving there as a local and creating craft beer.
What brought us here to get serious? It was "Kesennuma".
The sea of Rias and the lush green mountains, and the unique culture nurtured by them. In addition, the people of Kesennuma, who have been interacting with overseas countries for a long time, are surprisingly inclusive of different cultures and immigrants. Once you visit, everyone will be fascinated by the city, and that is our home "Kesennuma".
