He spent his childhood in South Africa, England and Switzerland and settled in Ghana after graduating from Stanford University in the United States. Seeing an opportunity in the business of adding value to Ghana's agricultural products and commercializing them, he bought fruits at the market, cut them himself, and put them in the dryer to repeat the experiment. It was around this time that he met his future co-founder and COO, Emmanuel Ampadu Jr. Emmanuel and Yvette, who had majored in agriculture at university and had already started a business of producing dried pineapples, immediately hit it off and built a business and team from scratch.
