[Perfected functional beauty that has remained unchanged for 50 years]
Since its release, Baulu has not changed its basic design at all. That's because we believe it's a simple, highly polished design that includes only what you need from the start. To realize this design, the Bauru body is made of aluminum die-casting, while the handle is compression molded—a manufacturing method that requires the craftsmanship.
There are two key commitments to the manufacturing we steadfastly uphold.
● Deliberately don't take it off. ~A Form of Peace of Mind~
We maintain an integrated structure where the top and bottom do not come apart. There is no risk of spilling the contents when flipping it, and it is safe for everyone, from children to the elderly. This "natural sense of security" is the most important form of kindness.
● Deliberately not display. ~Universal beauty and cleanliness~
There are no ornate embossed designs. Trendy art styles will eventually get boring. More importantly, the flat surface—free from crumbs and cheese, washed quickly, and kept hygienic at all times—is the timeless functional beauty.
[Durable durability created by artisans' hands, lasting durability]
With the same shape and manufacturing method since its launch, we have created products that can last 10 or even 20 years.
● Careful burr removal
Each piece shaped by molds is carefully deburred one by one by skilled artisans to create a beautiful base for the paint. Currently, the interior is coated with fluororesin and the exterior with baked silicone coating, assembling products with reliable quality.
● Robust high-pressure molded handle
The handle uses heat-resistant phenolic resin and employs a manufacturing method called "direct pressure molding." Because deburring and polishing processes are extremely labor-intensive, it is no longer a mainstream molding method, but we continue to uphold this method to solve the conflicting challenges of its initial design and overwhelming strength to withstand the harsh daily direct fire cooking.
