In both cases, I'm thinking about what I want to make from the materials I can get, such as combining deadstock materials with current fabrics and blades, or attaching antique parts to the margins.

In addition, when I am walking in the city and look like a person wearing a nice hat from a distance, I imagine that it would be wonderful if it were such a hat, and I design it while reproducing the image.

Basically, we work in the atelier, but we also ask craftsmen to do certain processes such as straw hats. Vintage natural materials are very precious, and I sometimes use such materials to recreate old patterns over time, but I can't do many because the craftsmen are too hard.

I want to take care of the texture of each material, so I only apply a minimum amount of glue to the back of the cloth, which is usually used to finish straw hats. It takes a lot of time and effort to make it, so I want to make something like no other.
