La Pradera Farm is located in the province of Santander, Colombia.
At an altitude of 1,800 meters and close to the Sikamocha Valley, it is a wonderful cultivation environment with low humidity, good sunlight, and cold winds blowing through at night.
Because it uses organic JAS-certified beans that are a blend of ripe castillo and catura with a sugar content of 23%, it is characterized by a clean and gentle sweetness, and we are particular about the raw materials used as decaf.
The decaffeinated method is a mountain water process. At the Descamex factory in Mexico, we process clean water that originates from Mt. Orizaba at the foot of Córdoba. With this method, only caffeine can be selectively extracted, so the original taste of coffee remains intact. In addition, Descamex uses water to decaffeinate the beans, and then puts the beans in three different dryers in turn to dry them slowly and evenly. This careful post-processing prevents the taste from being spoiled by rapid drying.
It does not have the unique smell of decaf beans that existed in the past, and you can enjoy the same taste as regular beans. Even those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or who are refraining from caffeine, can enjoy delicious single-origin coffee.
