OBUSUMA
A wooden product brand launched by the social welfare corporation Obusuma Welfare Association Hanno Office in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture. With Rika Kawahigashi as the art director, she has created a new place for people with disabilities to express themselves and to discover and nurture talents in the production of OBUSUMA's products.
Rika Kawato
Textile and interior designer with roots in Japan and Denmark. He has used his experience of living in many countries and cultures, including Scandinavia, to design in a wide range of fields, including interior and textile brands in Japan and overseas, as well as in the medical and welfare fields, in manufacturing and creating spaces that value colors, materials, and the emotion of nature.
<About the Paper>
It is a high-quality printing paper that achieves both the contradictory properties of good color development and the texture of paper at a high level, and uses the thickest paper of Van Nuovo V-FS, which has also obtained FSC certification*.
* FSC certification evaluates and certifies whether forest management and logging are carried out in consideration of the environment and local communities, and certifies that the product is derived from such forests (products made from appropriately managed forest wood).
