Confiture de Rose
"Roses that can be eaten whole"
The rose confiture "Whispering" uses roses grown organically without the use of pesticides.
We do not use any chemical substances such as preservatives, synthetic fragrances, or white sugar. You can eat with peace of mind. Originally, confiture refers to jam in French, but "whisper" is different from traditional jam made from boiled fruit. It was born with the concept of suppressing the sugar content, leaving the petals of the rose without crushing, and tasting the rose itself. "Whispering" is "a rose that can be eaten whole.
The rose color of "Whisper" is the color of "petals as they are"
A common rose jam is a transparent jelly with a few petals floating in it.
"Whispering" is different from these, and it is encapsulated as if the petals of a rose were about to blossom. When you open the bottle, the scent of real fresh roses wafts softly, and you can enjoy the rich taste of roses in your mouth. The complex natural taste of faint astringency and bitterness that remains is a luxury for adult women who can understand the umami. It looks vivid, and the original sweet scent of roses spreads in your mouth, and you will have a blissful time like never before.
Our commitment to roses
Roses have been loved all over the world since time immemorial as an addition to perfumes and cosmetics. At our rose farm "Daihana Farm" in Taiwan
As "roses are something to eat", we thoroughly cultivate organically without using pesticides, and have obtained certification as an organic certified business.
We took the time to carefully prepare the basic soil. Under the soil with great vitality, even biopesticides and organic fertilizers
We aimed for more natural organic cultivation without using it. Pruned branches, leaves, and weeds are discarded, but on our farm, they become compost.
In the beginning, it was a series of trial and error with pest control and countermeasures, and it was difficult to find an effective method.
But after a long period of hard work, I found a way to keep the natural ecosystem in balance, inspired by the roses that bloom beautifully around the weeds.
That's because the weeds that are the favorite of thrips (a general term for Tysanoptera insects), which mainly eat roses, were left unweeded.
Thrips stopped eating roses. Insect carcasses and excrement also became the best compost, and rose plants began to bloom stronger, more beautiful, and more fragrant.
The ultimate organic cultivation, which runs the natural cycle of protecting nature and ecosystems and growing them while considering the environment, is what Obana Farm values most.
Today, the area is known as Taiwan's premier producer of winter roses. Over a long period of time, we have cultivated 50~60 kinds of roses,
We have also been researching which varieties are best suited to the farm's land and climate.
On our farm, we have succeeded in producing "whole edible roses" that are excellent in all aspects of aroma, taste, and nutritional value.
We will confidently deliver the confiture "Whisper" made of roses, carefully grown on a large flower farm, to everyone.
・What are the joys and benefits of eating organic roses?
In Chinese, there is a saying, "All colors, flavors, and flavors." This means that the best food experience is to eat food that combines the three elements of "color (appearance)", "aroma", and "taste". Eating these organic roses is truly a "full of color and flavor" experiences. In addition, it can be said that due to the rich nutritional components of organic roses, it is possible to experience "color flavor" + "nutrition" that is even higher than "all color flavoring ingredients". It may be a personal experience, but in addition to the aforementioned "color flavor" + "nutrition", roses are romantic and their scent has the effect of bringing emotional stability, so I think you can always maintain a calm feeling when eating roses. For this reason, I think it may be possible to experience edible roses with just five senses.
"The vitamin C content of roses is much higher than that of lemons, and there are nutritional components such as total polyphenols, total flavonoids, tannins, and soluble polysaccharides in the anthocyanins (polyphenols) of roses, and the total phenols (antioxidants) content is 22 times that of red grapes and 40 times that of white grapes."
When you eat jam, the moment you put it in your mouth, you can experience multiple layers of sensations at the same time: aroma, astringency, and sweetness.
If you don't like astringency, we recommend eating it in yogurt. It has a taste that you won't get tired of eating every day.
It can also be mixed with milk, soy milk, etc. It's a good idea to try various things according to your own preference.
It goes well with foods with strong oils, as one of the sauces for steaks, it can be served with duck meat, as a sauce for complex cheese pizza, it can be combined with honey and served with rose jam.
The rose jam refreshes the oil.
It is also suitable for making sweets. You can use it for chiffon cakes, pound cakes, madeleines, cookies, etc.
Just pour 1 spoonful of rose jam (in your favorite amount) hot water into a mug and it will be hot tea. Please try it when you want to relax.
What are the effects and efficacy of roses?
The scent of roses is said to have various benefits.

We will introduce the typical effects and efficacy of Hamanasu flowers.
1. Skin-beautifying effect
Hamanasu flowers are rich in vitamin C and tannins, which are a type of polyphenol.
Includes: Vitamin C smooths collagen synthesis and reduces wrinkles and sagging.
It has a preventive effect and also prevents the deposition of melanin pigment, which causes spots and freckles, and maintains the original transparent skin.
Tannins are also said to have a skin-tightening effect.
2. Effect of improving women's specific problems
Geraniol, which is the aromatic component of Hamanasu, has the effect of balancing the hormones of women.
By regulating the secretion of hormones, it is said to alleviate symptoms such as menstrual irregularities and menstrual pain caused by disturbances in female hormones.
3. Prevention and improvement of lifestyle-related diseases
Hamanasu contains a lot of vitamin C, tannins, and other ingredients that have antioxidant effects.
When reactive oxygen species are generated in the body excessively, bad (LDL) cholesterol oxidizes and causes arteriosclerosis.
In addition, arteriosclerosis causes blood vessels to become hard and brittle, causing stroke and myocardial infarction.
Hamanasu can be expected to have the effect of removing active oxygen and preventing lifestyle-related diseases.
4. Effect of adjusting the gastrointestinal environment
Hamanasu has a certain degree of antibacterial and viable bacteria, and also promotes intestinal peristalsis, keeps the digestive tract clean, and helps in the excretion and metabolism of toxins.
It restores and strengthens the balance of gastrointestinal function, regulates the secretion of digestive juices, promotes digestion and absorption, so that it is a constant against chronic diseases such as indigestion and gastric acidity.
It is said to have an adjustment and improvement effect.
