Laundry
If you are concerned about dirt, soak a small amount of neutral detergent into a cloth, squeeze it hard, rub the surface, and then wipe it with water. Please note that frequent washing with detergent will remove too much oil from the wool and cause the hair to lose its luster and damage it. When washing, use a mild detergent (a small amount) with water (hot water is not allowed), shape it, and dry it in the shade. Unwanted wool will come out, but don't worry if you rinse it well. (Please take large items to a professional vendor.) )
How to store
Natural wool is susceptible to insects due to dampness, spilled food, and other dirt. Normally, when using a hand-woven carpet, there is no fabric or adhesive on the back, so it is well breathable, especially if it is not high humidity, etc., there is no problem, but please vacuum the back side about once every 1~2 months. When storing for a long time, vacuum both the front and back surfaces, wipe with a hard-wrung rag, dry well, and store in a bag in roll form. It is recommended to add insect repellent (natural camphor is recommended) desiccant.
