1. 100% high-quality moringa oil blended with lavender essential oil
JUJUBODY has partnered with a venture co-founded by a Ghanaian graduate of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and an American graduate of Harvard University to source moringa oil directly from Ghana. Moringa oil, extracted by cold-pressing using technology developed at MIT, is of high quality. Moringa oil is a very valuable and expensive oil, and 100% moringa oil is hard to find on the market. Major cosmetics manufacturers commercialize oils containing only a few percent moringa oil as moringa oil. We blended 100% unrefined moringa oil with lavender essential oil. You can enjoy the soothing scent.
2. No additives, 100% natural
JUJUBODY's moringa oil is 100% unrefined moringa oil as it is the blessing of nature. It does not contain any preservatives, preservatives or additives. Enjoy 100% moringa oil with a unique wood scent of moringa.
3. Ethical and sustainable
Moringa trees help grow crops around them and can be intercropped with crops. After extracting moringa oil, the squeezing residue returns to the soil as high-quality compost. In addition to their own farms, JUJUBODY producers contract with small-scale farmers with low local cash incomes to purchase moringa seeds from smallholder farmers in an effort to increase their cash income. Today, the initiative has spread to more than 300 households, some of which have seen a tenfold increase in cash income.

[Why we don't stick to organic & fair trade certification]
JUJUBODY's moringa oil is made from moringa seeds grown without pesticides, but it is not certified organic. Why is that?
Obtaining organic certification is expensive and requires a lot of administrative effort. This is because it is impossible to give organic certification to the farmland of the increasingly increasing number of smallholder farmers under contract.
JUJUBODY does not have organic certification because it uses moringa oil extracted from moringa seeds purchased from this small-scale farmer, not moringa seeds grown on its own farm.
In addition, JUJUBODY adheres to Fair Trade, but does not attach importance to Fair Trade certification. Why is that?
Fairtrade certified products are those that have been proven to be traded at a fair price. Manufacturers pay a lot of effort and money to certify Fair Trade, but they continue to pay a few percent of the price of their products to Fair Trade organizations in exchange for continuing to use the certification mark. The money is used to run the Fair Trade Institute, but it is never returned to the local producers. In addition, the price itself, which is considered to be a fair price, may be lower than the actual market price, and the true "fairness" of the price remains questionable.
JUJUBODY does not need to rely on these external certifications because it is familiar with local issues and deals directly with local producers.
