Touch the brand's charm
Kyogen Rice Tea Kamiru Iruru
It is a brand specializing in genmaicha that was born from the Ujitawara Tea House in Kyoto.
By reviewing the roots of genmaicha, we hope to share the old-fashioned values and wisdom of life once again.
1
In the early Showa era, a tea merchant in Kyoto roasted fine pieces made by breaking kagami mochi and mixed them with tea leaves, which is said to be the beginning of genmaicha. Kamiruiru is a tea that reproduces the "origin of genmaicha".
2
Roasted rice is used in today's general genmaicha, but Kamiruiruru is particular about mochi, which is the origin, and uses binchotan charcoal charcoal roasted rice cakes from Narumiya, a long-established rice confectionery store in Kyoto.
3
The arrow of the brand name and symbol Kamiru Iruru is derived from the address notation peculiar to Kyoto. The feeling of exhilaration superimposed on the cityscape of ancient Kyoto is agar! It is a brand design.
