◆ About Mixing ◆
Mamma Naturals' raw almond butter does not use additives like emulsifiers, so over time, the almonds settle and the oil gradually floats to the surface. There is no quality issue, but if you use the oil while it is floating, the product will gradually become dry, so please mix well each time before eating.

Use a straight, hard, spatula-like tool like a butter knife.
(1) Insert the oil vertically about 10 times as if dropping the floating oil downward. (If you stir it all at once, the oil will spill.)
(2) Once the oil has settled, repeat the process of inserting the spatula and twisting several times.
(3) Once the almonds and oil are well combined, stir the spatula up and down again until creamy.
* Since lumps tend to remain at the corners of the bottle bottom, be sure to mix well at the bottom as well.

Almond butter originated in America. Arai, the representative of Mamma Naturals, also discovered almond butter while living in California, the world's largest almond-producing region, and became captivated by its flavor. However, when he returned to Japan, he couldn't find almond butter anywhere, so after much trial and error, he decided to try making it himself.
In fact, most American almond butter is simply mashed almonds into a paste, and it's common to enjoy it with jam or other sweetness. But since we're going to make it even easier and tastier, we add salt, oil, and brown sugar to make it a different arrangement. It has a subtle sweetness yet is flavored so you can enjoy it every day without getting bored. The result is so high that even local Americans rave about it, calling it "the best I've ever had." We use glass bottles with a high recycling rate and metal lids for our containers, striving to reduce plastic costs. The labels aim to be chemical-free and do not use stickers that use adhesives.
