It is a Kenyan wash that allows you to feel a firm body even with a deep roast.
This coffee is selected from a large number of lots harvested in Kenya every year, and the coffee has a strong body and a blackcurrant feel.
This crop is a lot from the Gichugu Coffee Factory located in Embu, at the foot of Mount Kenya.
The Gicchug Coffee Factory began operations in the early 1970s and collects and refines cherries grown by producers in the neighboring villages of Kambib, Gicchug and Magatta.
The purification method is a water washing purification method called the Kenyan method.
After the pulp of the cherries is removed, they are washed clean with water called canal and dried in African beds for 7~15 days.
This purification method produces a lot of water, but the used water is not discharged as it is, but is stored in the purification layer and purified using the power of microorganisms to ensure that it does not affect the environment before being discharged.
The factory also encourages surrounding farmers to plant shade trees, and various plants such as bananas, macadamia nuts, and legumes are planted to help coffee grow.
Medium to deep roast is recommended, but we will roast it to your liking.
We take orders and roast them, so you always have fresh beans at your fingertips.
