After graduating from university, I joined Sanwa Bank (now MUFG Bank), then joined Square Enix, where I was involved in start-up companies in the game industry for many years, and my long-standing hobby of smoking led me to become a German-style ham sausage maker.
Taking the opportunity to acquire the national qualification (food sanitation manager), which is essential in the meat product manufacturing industry, I launched Ikutose with two craftsmen who had deepened their friendship at the restaurant during their apprenticeship.
Based on the German manufacturing method that I learned in my training, I make the most of my delicate taste as a Japan person and work on new product development with unique ideas.
Based on our corporate motto of "creating the future (taste buds)", we are working hard every day to provide products that are loved by a wide range of generations, from children to adults.
We are also working to solve local issues, such as 6th industry products using local rice in collaboration with Tsukuba Mirai City, and upcycled products using unused dried sweet potatoes in collaboration with Ibaraki University.

We want small children to eat real sausages made with 100% domestic pork. In addition, our hometown of Tsukuba Mirai City is rich in agricultural products such as rice, vegetables, and fruits, but there is no full-fledged meat product manufacturing using the German method, so we launched the brand with the spirit of creating sixth products that aim to improve the added value of local agricultural products.
Tsukuba Mirai City is the place of its founding, and the brand concept is to create taste buds by combining "Mirai", which is also in the name of the municipality, and "taste buds" on the tongue.
In particular, the taste of the food and dishes that we ate when we were young is something that we remember even as adults, and we want our children to have the experience of eating the real thing while they are young.
We are creating sausages made from locally grown rice, participating in a project to solve local issues such as reducing dried sweet potato residues that Ibaraki University is working on, and developing upcycled sausage products.
Commitment to the product
Coarsely ground meatloaf is a coarsely ground type of meatloaf made from 100% domestic pork. It is a product based on sausage dough and kneaded with paprika.
It is finished by putting it in a mold and baking it in the oven, so you can enjoy it as it is after thawing, or if you bake it in a frying pan, the fat of the domestic pork will melt and you can enjoy it even more deliciously.
It has a wide variety of culinary uses, such as stir-frying with vegetables without oil, eating with rice, chopping and adding to salads, and stewing with vegetables.
We often receive very positive feedback from customers, such as that even people who do not like the smell of meat were able to eat it because it does not smell of pork at all, that children ate it first and it disappeared in a blink of an eye, that it is very useful because it can be used in various dishes, and that it can be eaten even if you do not like bell peppers and paprika.
The target audience ranges from children to adults. Some children have been eating since they were about 2 years old.
