In March 2017, it was selected as a candidate area for Japan Heritage, and is located on the south side of Sawyama, one of the three famous mountains in Chiba Prefecture. With the opening of "Roadside Station Hoda Elementary School", which was built in this town using an abandoned school, we started a craft beer business to convey the charm of the area. At that time, there were still few secondary industries and there was a shortage of processed souvenirs, so we focused on craft beer as a way to make the most of local agricultural products. We believe that beer made with local ingredients is one of the important tools to convey the charm of Minamiboso, and as a result, we will convey the charm of the region to visitors and provide them with an experience that allows them to tour the brewery and enjoy the taste of beer. Through this initiative, we aim to raise the profile of Minamiboso and increase the number of fans, contribute to the increase in the number of tourists and guests, and become a part of the regional circular economy.
We try to brew "regional craft beers" that are connected to the rich nature of Minamiboso. Our beers are always made with at least one local produce and are packed with quality and local concern in cooperation with trusted producers. The direct sales shop attached to the brewery provides visitors with a special experience so that they can feel the charm of Minamiboso firsthand. In addition, we are actively developing events and e-commerce sales to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy and the realization of a circular economy. We are confident that our craft beers will bring new value to the community and the consumers who pick them up.
Commitment to the product
We are particular about using Minamiboso's rich local resources for all of our beers.
We use local rice "grains" and agricultural products such as yuzu, amatsu, sansho, and ginger, and also incorporate coffee beans blended and roasted by local roasters. You can enjoy 5 types of beer all year round. In addition, you can enjoy strawberries, fresh hops, summer oranges, etc. at the seasonal limited brewing. In the future, we plan to develop new products tailored to scenes such as saunas, hot springs, camping, and surfing, and we will work to create products that are not only "delicious" but also "fun".
Our craft beer is widely supported by tourists visiting Minamiboso, as well as customers in the prefecture, the Tokyo metropolitan area, and even inbound customers. Wholesalers are mainly roadside stations and lodging facilities in the vicinity, but recently we have also received orders from restaurants and craft beer specialty stores in Tokyo. We have received a lot of support from stores and lodging facilities that value the characteristics of the region, and the main reason is that they can sympathize with our thoughts and initiatives for the region. In addition, the number of fans who trust the quality is increasing, and the cute jacket design of "Dedara Botch" is especially popular with women in their 20s ~ 30s. It has been highly evaluated by customers as a "delicious craft beer that sticks to local production", and we recommend that you enjoy the individuality of the beer with the backstory as well as a souvenir in the prefecture.
