Based on his experience in the development of chemical substances, he believed that the most efficient way to maintain health, prevent it, improve it, and cure it was to use safe and effective natural products that do not depend on pharmaceuticals. When he was dispatched to the Philippine Department of Health as a JICA expert, he participated in research and development of alternative synthetic medicines using Philippine medicinal plants, and experienced the power of natural plants. At the end of the 20th century, I had the opportunity to go to Thailand Donnesia, which was in the midst of a global economic and financial crisis, to investigate the development assistance projects of the Japan government. A subordinate I worked with in Japan showed me a strange fruit, which I had never studied in medicinal botany at the Faculty of Pharmacy, but it was a noni fruit. It is a large mulberry fruit, with a unique cheese-like smell, a taste that irritates the tongue, and although it is not a delicious fruit, it is clear from experience that it has medicinal properties.
He approached me with a plan for joint development of noni juice and introduction of it to Japan, and I immediately agreed. We investigated the history and experience of the use of noni fruit in Indonesia, the evaluation of the public, and the natural vegetation and cultivation conditions, and understood that it is an important traditional medicine for 6,000 years in Indonesia.
Then, he consulted with an alumnus who is a professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Nagasaki University and began analyzing the useful ingredients. At the same time, he conducted nutritional analysis and decided to bet his life on the fact that it was a rare and beneficial fruit juice and to raise awareness in Japan.
Since fruiting fruits are abundant all year round, regardless of the season, and yellow and mature fruits can be harvested anytime and anywhere, we were able to understand the production method of noni juice of local residents and confirm that fresh noni fruit juice of mature fruit is the safest and most effective. Later, he invited two people involved in the production of noni juice to Japan and simultaneously obtained qualifications from the cultivation of organic noni fruits to the production of noni fruits.
As a result, the "Organic Noni Whole Squeeze" brand was created.
Most noni juice sold in Japan is generally called rotten juice, which is very different from the original noni juice.
