A feeling that has not changed since 1999.
Feelings for construction, health, and the environment.
"Both of my children are allergic and can't use regular furniture, and like other children, I really want to buy a desk when they start first grade, but I couldn't find a desk that my child could use safely."
This was about 20 years ago. Nowadays, we can see many health-conscious products, but at that time, there was not much of a concept of choosing health-conscious furniture, and even though I had been in the furniture industry for a long time, the relationship between "allergies" and "furniture" was not immediately connected.
After that, I read various materials and learned that the paint materials and adhesives contained in furniture, if not all furniture, contain volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde, which are harmful to health.
The year after we heard the story, we exhibited all of our study desks with only health-conscious desks as adhesives and paint materials, and we realized that there were many more customers than we had imagined who wanted to use and were looking for furniture that was safe for us.
Then, in 1999, we opened an interior shop that proposed "high-quality furniture rather than luxury" with the unified concept of "construction," "health," and "environment" for all shops.
Rather than focusing on the luxury of the appearance alone, it is important to value the quality that sticks to the invisible parts. We need to go to the site and see it with our own eyes and make a choice. To develop original products based on concepts based on customer feedback.
That unchanging desire has taken shape and is gradually spreading widely. We would be most happy if we could deliver the thoughts that we have carefully protected to as many customers as possible.
