OMGT was founded in 2020 to develop organic matcha paste that is kneaded into organic matcha without additives such as colorants or preservatives. It was to fulfill the wish of the 12th Uji tea master, Kita Juzaemon, who wanted to solve the problem of needing powdered matcha tea utensils, which took time and money, and that it would change color when heated.
The representative, Oshio, was a big matcha lover who drank matcha every day, but one day he couldn't drink matcha for about 5 days and became mentally and physically ill ("matcha deficiency"). Therefore, I researched matcha and reaffirmed its outstanding nutritional value. In the past, it was said to be the "elixir of immortality and longevity", and in the Edo period, the reason why the shogun went out of his way to carry tencha from Uji "on the way to the teapot" was because it had a certain effect.
The organic matcha paste, which is processed into a paste from organic matcha in a factory with patented technology, does not change color even when heated, and has obtained organic certification. We hope to realize a "healthy and long-lived society" in which more and more people drink matcha paste, a versatile and healthy "elixir", and "leap to 100".
