From Yokohama to the world
From the end of the Tokugawa shogunate to the Meiji Restoration, Yokohama flourished in the export of raw silk and in the Showa era, and at its peak in 1976 (Showa 51), half of the world's scarves were said to be Yokohama scarves, which greatly contributed to the industrial development of Japan, but unfortunately its glory has disappeared with changes in fashion style.
Our company still handles scarves in Yokohama. Therefore, with the desire to bring the "Yokohama scarf" back into the spotlight and to convey the goodness of silk, which is an excellent fiber, we redefined it to match the modern age, and a new silk scarf "Feuille de Cocoon" that can be used in various scenes was born.
However, in modern times, it is becoming difficult to complete scarf making only in Yokohama. Therefore, we developed with long-established companies all over Japan and completed "Feuille de Cocoon".
