Hyakunoem's Initiatives
1. We will revitalize domestic jewelry artisans. Unlike mass-produced products overseas, we use the skills of experienced craftsmen to carefully produce high-quality works in every detail.
2. In order to prevent price increases due to excess inventory, we basically adopt a made-to-order system.
3. We provide high-quality products by not having wholesalers in our sales channels and not having stores.
4. Gemstones are extremely different in quality. We offer quality gemstones at reasonable prices.
5. The leather straps used in MPINGO are also environmentally friendly and use leather from Sanyo Co., Ltd., which is certified as eco-leather.
6. We donate a portion of the sales of MPINGO to a local NGO that manages and operates FSC-certified forests in Tanzania.
Introducing the collection
〈MPINGO〉Music × Jewelry
The "African Blackwood" tree, which is used as a material for clarinets, grows in the land of Africa over a period of 100 years, but is also a rare species that is currently designated as a near-threatened species. We reused non-standard parts generated during the production of musical instruments and upcycled them into high-end jewelry with Okinawan sculptors. We will deliver the splendor of music and its power to bring peace to the world, as well as the environmental problems of the earth and the efforts of those who support them in the form of jewelry.
〈M JEWELRY〉Jewelry × Architecture (Art)
Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. Inspired by his words, "Beautiful shapes are structurally stable, and structures should be learned from nature," he pursued simple and beautiful lines by expressing the letter "M" based on the concept of curves in nature. In addition, the collection focuses on the forms of the natural world, such as the simplest circular motifs found in nature, such as spirals, planets, and tree trunks, as well as works that take advantage of the unspoiled beauty of rough stones.
