We focused on the small points of daily life and incorporated ideas to make it easier to use in product development. Product development is in collaboration with Propeller Design, a design office that has won numerous awards for product design that fits into everyday life.
For example, even if you take the act of "opening", you can open it wide, open only partially, or open all of it, so that you can control the opening and closing method just right depending on the item and how it is used.
In addition, we will contribute to a sustainable society by manufacturing products that reduce the burden on the environment. For example, we use a technology called "e.dye®" that does not use water at the dyeing stage. Polyester, which is often used around us such as clothes and bags, is actually a material that is difficult to dye. Conventional technology requires 100~150 liters of water to dye 1 kg of fiber.
The environmentally friendly dyeing technology "e.dye®" can reduce water consumption by 85%, chemical consumption by 90%, and CO2 emissions by 12% compared to conventional production methods.
In addition to the dyeing technology, the main "e.dye®" fabric and tapes used in uF items are all made from recycled PET bottles. By scanning the QR tag attached to the product, you can check the amount of water, chemicals, and CO2 reduction due to the measurement of the e.dye® fabric used in the product.
It took about three years of trial and error to achieve both "stress-free ease of use," "unprecedented bag design," and "manufacturing that reduces the burden on the environment to the utmost limit."
The result is the "uF" brand.
