[Indonesia Mandelin G1]
The mandelin we are currently handling is a G1-grade mandelin produced at a high altitude of more than 1,000 meters near Lake Toba in North Sumatra Province, Sumatra, and has a smooth, rich richness and a unique strong bitterness. It is a high-quality coffee bean that is cultivated in the fertile volcanic ash soil caused by the eruption of Mt. Toba, and has been picked (removal of defective beans) by skilled pickers in the field to clear strict standards.
By the way, mandelin is also a standard bean with a G1 grade, but this product is a specialty class mandelin.
We recommend medium-deep roast ~ deep roast, where you can enjoy the spiciness unique to mandelin and the mellow and rich richness. In hot weather, iced coffee is also available.
It is recommended for those who do not like acidity and those who like rich coffee.
The basic roasting at our shop is a slightly deeper city roast (medium-deep roast) that emphasizes ease of drinking, where you can enjoy the moderate richness, bitterness, and spiciness without exposing too much of the characteristics of mandelin. You can enjoy the deep depth and unique earthy flavor of mandelin on a single origin, or you can try your own "mandelin blend" with other beans.
