It is a smoked flavored balsamic vinegar from the original recipe of New Zealand's olive orchard Telegraph Hill. New Zealand is also a barbecue powerhouse, and interestingly, spray-type liquid smoke is popular, and it is customary to spray liquid smoke on grilled meat and eat it with a smoked flavor. This liquid smoke is made from wood chips from which Manuka honey is harvested, which is mixed with balsamic vinegar made from grapes grown in the wineries of Hawke's Bay, where good wines are made. It also contains brown sugar, so you can use it as a sauce for meat or as a salad dressing.
