We are fishermen engaged in fixed nets at Mitsu Fishing Port in Kashima Town, Shimane Prefecture. As I land a lot of fish every day, I think that I want to deliver the deliciousness of seasonal seafood grown in the Sea of Japan to more people. In addition to going fishing every day, we will pursue various activities with a commitment to processing and sales methods so that we can deliver the seafood caught in the waters of Mitsu in the best condition. "Salted squid" is the most common type of salted fish, but "salted mackerel" has been made in Mitsu for a long time. It can be enjoyed as it is as a side dish for sake or rice, but it can also be used as a substitute for salt as an all-purpose seasoning. The deep richness and umami of the salty spice add a deep flavor to the dish like fish sauce.
