About 3.5 billion plastic toothbrushes are consumed every year around the world.
Since it cannot be recycled, it generates a huge amount of garbage and causes marine debris. At mana., we wanted to create a toothbrush with functionality and design while taking such environmental issues into consideration, and our first product, the bamboo toothbrush, was born. Bamboo can be harvested in three years and is attracting attention as a sustainable material due to its rapid growth and its role in absorbing more CO2 than other plants. At mana., we are particular about the background of the material and production process, and we use organic bamboo that has obtained FSC, an international forest certification system based on principles and standards for responsible forest management, supported by consensus of environmental, social and economic stakeholders. The thick body is designed to feel fluffy and light when you hold it, and you can grip it firmly. The brush part does not use pig hair or horse hair from the viewpoint of animal protection (vegan), and is made of BPA-free ultra-fine bristle nylon. After use, remove only the brush part with pliers and treat it appropriately.
