◆ Manufacturing process ◆
Milk is sourced from the highlands
Yaks and cattle in the Himalayas graze at altitudes above 10,000 feet, feeding on herbs and medicinal herbs. Drinking the pure water of the Himalayas adds medicinal properties to milk. Local farmers collect fresh milk, which becomes the first stage in the production of Chhurpi Chews.
Boil the milk
Milk is heated to 90 ° C, which kills microorganisms and harmful bacteria. It is then centrifuged to separate and remove the fat from the milk. The leftover skim milk becomes the raw material for delicious Chhurpi for dogs.
Cheese production
To make fresh cheese, add a little lime juice and Himalayan salt to the separated milk and heat it. At this stage, it coagulates, resulting in a semi-solid cheese.
Moisture removal
The coagulated cheese is packed in rectangular blocks, wrapped in linen cloth and compressed with strong force to extract and remove excess water. This way, you can harden the chew along the way.
Smoke drying to form chulpi
The dehydrated blocks are cut into long sticks of hard chhurpi and smoked dry for 28 days. This process is a way to provide a natural antiseptic layer on the Chhurpi.
Sorting & Quality Testing
Chhurpi Chews are brought to our processing units from more than 30 smallholder farmers and only those that meet international standards are selected and commercialized.

◆Frequently Asked Questions◆
What are the nutritional facts?
Dogs need adequate nutrition to keep them healthy every day, including playing, growing, exercising, and raising their young. Protein contains 10 types of amino acids, and without protein, you cannot live a healthy life.
Our products contain 53% protein, 0.7-0.9% lipids and 4-6% carbohydrates with balanced amino acids, which contributes to your dog's health.
What should I do with leftovers?
The remaining chew pieces can be heated in the microwave for 40~60 seconds and inflated. After 2 minutes, let it cool down before giving it to your dog.
What should I do if it's too hard for my dog?
If it is too hard to chew, soak it in hot water for about 5-10 minutes. After that, it should be dried and left for about 1 hour before feeding.
How to store after opening?
Make sure the chew is completely dry before storing. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from heat sources. Avoid contact with water and moisture for a long time.
If it comes into contact with moisture, it can develop mold and damage the shape and firmness of the chew.
What is the recommended way to give this dog chew?
Our dog chews are classified as treats and cannot be given as a substitute for meals. It is recommended to give 2-3 pieces per week, and more for dogs that like to chew.
To compensate for the lack of water in the snack, give them plenty of fresh drinking water.
Is milk good for dogs?
Raw milk is difficult for dogs to digest, but if you process the milk into a hardened chulpy, it will be easier to digest. Yak milk is rich in zinc, antioxidants, and omega-3s.
Our chews have a lactose content of less than 1% because most of the lactose is removed in the production process. Plain milk is not recommended for dogs with lactose intolerance.
How should I store it?
Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight, water or moisture. Hard cheese may cause cracking, so avoid storing it in the refrigerator.
Seal the cheese properly and store it dry at room temperature. Avoid plastic and uncoated metal containers.
Are salt and fat not bad for dogs?
Our chews have less than 1% fat because most of the fat and cream are extracted during the production stage. Salt will only harm the dog if ingested in large quantities.
We only use a pinch of salt with lime to coagulate the cheese, so the amount of salt in the final product is negligible.
