One hand that gets blocked when taking a drink home with a plastic-free tumbler.
With the aim of "opening up one hand", we have developed "ROOCUP" exclusively for plastic-free tumblers in collaboration with ROOTOTE, a brand specializing in tote bags.
Not only can you free up one hand by hooking it on the fingers of the hand holding the smartphone, but you can also insert a muddler or cutlery into the side pocket.
■ Collaboration with the tote bag specialty brand "ROOTOTE"
The origin of the name Root Tot is the kangaroo "Lou". It is characterized by a loo pocket inspired by the kangaroo's tummy bag.
The cup holder-type tote bag "ROOCUP" for take-out drinks released by Rootot in 2017 was completed by bringing in a special 14oz canvas fabric.
■ Uses rayon upcycled from Hiroshima's origami cranes
The rayon used in PAPLUS ROOCUP is made from origami cranes donated to Hiroshima. The precious origami cranes inherited from Hiroshima City are once pulped, processed into rayon cotton using a special technology, blended, and combined with thicker cotton yarn to make a 14oz campus fabric.
This canvas fabric is the same as the canvas fabric provided for the sneakers of the Hiroshima-based sneaker brand "Spingle Move", which was collaborated twice in 2022 and 2023 by the ONGAESHI Project, a social contribution activity promoted by our company, Camino.
