In the first place, paper is made from plants, so we hypothesized that it would be a strong material by mixing it with biodegradable plastics derived from the same plant, and when we made a prototype, we ended up with a material with a very attractive expression. This is where the full-scale production of PAPLUS® began.
PAPLUS® is a sustainable material made from PLA (polylactic acid), which is mainly composed of lactic acid obtained by fermenting paper and corn starch, so most of the material is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by the action of microorganisms.
