At first, it was just curiosity.
"The barrel material that has been aged whiskey for many years can definitely still produce something good, right?"
So, our sake hack project made it into a glass bottle and pickled it in sake.
Then it became surprisingly delicious.
That's right.
The barrel is soaked with the ingredients of whiskey that has been slowly grown over time.
If you pour a new sake into it, the "flavor of time" will seep out.
What is a keg stick?
It was born as a bourbon barrel in the United States, and after it came to Japan, it was cut from real barrel wood that was actually used for aging for 30~40 years, so to speak, "fragments of time".
If you put it in a bottle and wait 7 days, you will find a new cup with added mellowness and depth.
Simple to use
1. Prepare your favorite alcohol (whiskey, soju, rum, etc.)
2. Put the keg stick
3. Let them sleep in a cool, dark place for a few days to a week
4. Done!
No special tools or hassle required. Just "leave it to time".
The change in taste is like "accelerating time"
In a few days, the corners were mellow.
That feeling of adding depth to the aroma and the "aroma of the barrel" escaping from the nose.
Your whiskey will be a "cup that can be talked about".
Commitment to materials
The barrels used are whiskey grown at long-established distilleries in Japan for over 30 years.
American white oak, which has made history as the cradle of whiskey, is carefully cut by hand by woodworkers in Hamamatsu, one by one.

❗ Please note
・Depending on the brand of alcohol, there are individual differences in the way the taste changes come out.
・Please use it with alcohol with an alcohol content of 20% or more.
・The stick can be used repeatedly, but the flavor will gradually fade. Increase the number of aging days with each additional number of aging. (Estimate: about 4 times)
