In the past, there was a haiku section on a radio program I was in charge of, and he taught me the joy of making haiku. One day, I received a postcard from a listener with my haiku on it.
When I heard it on the radio, my image was like an orchid flower, so I asked if I would like an "orchid woman". Because of the merit of the radio that you can't see your face, orchids are presumptuous even though you are a hasty and intriguing Thailand like me, and "Ranjo" is also a real haiku poet from the Edo period, so I took "Hisashi" from my name and called it "Kuran".
Since then, I've only occasionally written haiku, but this haiku was my favorite name.
When we launched the brand this time, we wanted to use a Japanese name, so we immediately decided on this "Kuran" (Thailand).
