The name is a combination of the word "gururi" which means circular type and the word "ko" for powder.

Debut of "Gururiko ®" as a brand
Until now, we have mainly sold "Gururiko ®" for commercial use, but in February 2025, we rebranded and started selling it to general consumers for the first time.
We want people to know the word "upcycling" and its initiatives, which are still not well known to the general public, and we want to change "mottainai" to "delicious" and deliver it to many customers.
The logo depicts an upcycling that rises upward while drawing infinite shapes around it.
 
Convey the strength of the scent
The first product in the "Gururiko ®" series was "Onion Gururiko". The raw material is onion core and sliced offcuts generated at the factories of major beef bowl chains.
 
Compared to commercially available onion powder, the biggest feature is that the aroma is 135 times stronger.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver the scent on the web, so we use the copy "Eat Kaori". I would like many people to have a new experience of "eating Kaori".
