Yuki Ishiguro / Born and raised in Germany, he studied design at the Folkwang University of the Arts and founded The Fuja as a freelance designer. He moved to Japan to learn more about his parents' hometown and his roots in Japan. After an internship at the industrial design office Plane Co. Ltd., he joined K-Studio hosted by Masayuki Kurokawa. Under Mr. Kurokawa's tutelage, he also deepened his insight into Japan design and architecture. Lars Amhoff was born in Germany. Immersed in design from an early age, he began his career in the furniture design industry after graduating from a product design school in 2003. After that, he continued to pursue design education and majored in industrial design at the Folkwang University of the Arts. While still a student, he launched two projects, Kinkyform and The Substain, which fused illustration with art, design, and crafts. After graduating, he worked as a faculty member at the university.

In addition, you can experience and enjoy the texture and weight by touching it with your hands.

By making representative cups by taking advantage of the types of pottery from each production area and the individuality of the craftsmen, we aim to create a series that can be used as a pottery encyclopedia. I would like to gradually increase the variety of pottery and make it easy to compare the textures of the materials, and make the collection interesting from an educational point of view.
