"Ohori Soma Ware Cup"
Ohori Soma ware in Fukushima Prefecture has a history of more than 300 years since its founding, and there were nearly 100 kilns in the Edo period, but in March 2011, the Great East Japan Earthquake struck. Due to the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant that acsued the earthquake, residents and businesses in Ohori, which was located 10 km from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, were forced to evacuate and disperse, and only 11 of the 25 kilns before the earthquake were able to resume pottery.
The whetstone used as a raw material for the glaze became impossible to mine due to radioactive contamination from the nuclear power plant accident, and the kilns were in danger of going out of business, but they developed a glaze with the same color as the whetstone and resumed production.
Asemico's Ohori Soma ware is emerald that makes use of the beautiful "blue crack"
It is characterized by green. When the "blue crack" appears, it was Karankaran
The cool sound is described as "the birth of pottery" and is suitable for the beginning
It's a substitute. We do not dare to draw a "running piece", and finish it in a simple design that fits into everyday life.
