Commitment to the product
Who are supporting us?
While returning to their parents' home in Tasmania, Chris and Alice wondered why they couldn't afford locally sourced sea salt when Tasmania's environment and pristine natural resources seemed perfect for salt making.
This led to an idea, and in 2013 they took the plunge and returned to Chris's hometown to start a sea salt mining business.
Tasmania, Australia, where Tasmancy salt is made, is located in one of the world's most untouched natural environments.
Protecting this beautiful environment is at the heart of Tasmancy Salt's philosophy, which utilizes sustainable energy throughout the production process.
Tasmancy Salt blends the age-old tradition of salt harvesting with innovative clean energy technologies.
The technology is innovative, but the process is simple.
Fresh water is evaporated, nothing is added, nothing is removed, only flakes of pure white salt are left.
Commitment to the product
Tasmania is Australia's southernmost state, with only the ocean between it and Antarctica.
The waters around Tasmania boast some of the cleanest and most nutrient-rich water quality in the world, and this unique combination creates the stunning flavour of Tasmansi salt flakes and the surprisingly deep taste.
Tasmanian sea salt is rich in minerals and nutrients found naturally in these seawaters, and contains all the blessings nature has given us.
Since it is a natural salt without additives, it is ordered by people who are concerned about food and health safety and restaurants.
In Australia, it is used for sweets in cafes and sells products in collaboration with chocolate manufacturers.
