He has been involved in the industry since 1997, when the first truffles were planted in Western Australia, and witnessed the historic moment of the state's first truffle harvest in 2005.
Adam was convinced that he could achieve better results, and his passion drove him to start Great Southern Truffles. From a small start-up to his vision and leadership, the company quickly grew to a phenomenal outcome, now with a full-time staff of five. It has become a leading player in the industry for the majority of truffles harvested in Australia.
Adam Wilson continues to be at the forefront of truffle culture, with passion and pride in promoting the value of Australian truffles around the world.

The story of the Great Southern truffle begins in 1997 when the first truffle was planted in Western Australia. Finally, in 2005, the first truffle harvest took place here.
Our founder, Adam Wilson, was deeply involved in the world of truffles from that very beginning and strongly believed that "we have the power to achieve even greater results." From a corner of the globe in Western Australia, he is proud of his work as a pioneer specializing in truffle hunting and grading. Based on more than 15 years of rich experience at home and abroad, we have a solid confidence in truffle harvesting and quality control.
Together with a skilled team and highly trained truffle dogs, we harvest 'nature' truffles from the fertile Western Australian soils and deliver the freshest truffles and processed products to tables around the world.
