In the early Showa era, there were about 10 companies that manufactured miso and soy sauce in Hakodate, but now we are the only one.
In the Showa 30s ~ 40s, Hakodate was at the height of the North Sea fishing industry. We delivered a large amount of miso and soy sauce as food for ships and supported the activities of the crews of the North Sea fishing fleet.
In the 50s, he started manufacturing sauces for local seafood processing. We have developed sauces such as Matsumae pickle and squid pickle, which have become our main products to date.
From the Showa 60s, we started manufacturing PB products such as souvenirs. Jointly developed with the Minami Kayabe Fishery Cooperative, "True Kelp Dashi Soy Sauce," which contains true kelp as it is, has become a popular product that continues to this day.
