Bulgarian damask roses that I met when I opened my intuition
We tried to create products that relied on intuition rather than logic. In particular, when I was exploring aromatherapy, I came across a producer's damask rose water, and when I smelled the scent, I was so shocked that my body shuddered. The essence of the rose, which seems to be a condensation of the life of the rose as it is, reminds me of my femininity just by smelling it, and has a clear scent that resonates deep within me.
We use Bulgarian roses, which are said to be of the highest quality among damask roses, and have a limited number of producers. There is a hundred-year-old field in the forests of the Bulgarian mountains, and gypsies pick all the roses by hand early in the morning in the last week of May and the first week of June.
When the rose was steamed in a large kettle, steam came out, and after cooling it, "rose water" came out. On top of that, the scented essential oil (rose oil) accumulates faintly and yellow. This is very valuable, and it costs 10,000 yen per meter, so rose oil is said to be more expensive than platinum.
Normally, the expensive rose oil is taken out and then the rest is made into rose water, but HANA ORGANIC's damask rose water is made by the producer who does not remove the rose oil but dissolves it as it is. In other words, it contains about 4 to 5 times more "rose oil" than general rose water.
Even the same damask rose water has a slightly different scent from year to year due to the influence of the weather. It can have a sweet scent like mango, or it can be a refreshing scent. Because it is different every year, I think one of the attractions is that you can enjoy the damask roses of that year.
