At CONSE, under the concept of "creating herbs that live in harmony with nature," we thoroughly practice natural cultivation without using any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We nurture soil together with weeds, insects, and microorganisms, and reuse herbs and dead wood past their shipping season as compost, practicing sustainable farming methods that make use of nature's cycles. These efforts form an important foundation for maximizing the individuality, aroma, and flavor of herbs.
Another major feature of CONSE is its proprietary drying technology. Since herbs start to spoil immediately after harvest, it is important to dry them while keeping them fresh. If dried at high temperature for a short time, the aroma will dissipate, while if dried too long at low temperatures, oxidation and dryer odors can accumulate. Therefore, temperature and time are finely adjusted according to the herbs and the day's temperature and humidity. By determining the optimal state not by machines but by human hands and senses, we create dried herbs with a fresh aroma and flavor.
Furthermore, they are highly particular about herbal blends. The representative personally adjusts in 0.1g increments, creating an original blend where the ingredients harmonize with each other. Sometimes, we spend several months prototyping, finishing each material so that it complements each other. These meticulous steps are designed to highlight the seasonal and unique qualities of herbs that only farmers can understand.
COSE practices herbal cultivation every day to foster harmony between nature and people, fostering a rich and enriching life.
