There is a unique culture of health and beauty throughout Japan. And it all started in Nara.
I'm originally from Nara, but I've always hated Nara.
When I was feeling the most stylish, I thought, "What is the big building closest to my house called the Great Buddha Hall? I've been thinking about it for a long time. And my longing for Tokyo and overseas began to accumulate more and more.
After that, I studied abroad as a student and got a job at a company in Tokyo, but I ended up working in Osaka and couldn't escape from Nara, but when I was 24 years old, I quit my job and moved to Tokyo.
When I was in college, I came across organic herbal aromas overseas, and although they were not well known in Japan, I thought they were cool for a long time, and I thought that it would be useful if there was something like this, so I tried importing and wholesaling American herbal brands and reading various books on phytotherapy, herbs, aromas, etc.
In this way, organic natural health and beauty became my main business, and I personally immersed myself in that world, and the number of overseas initiatives increased steadily in Asia, the United States, and Europe, but one day I suddenly wanted to know about Japan. So I traveled to 47 prefectures nationwide.
Then, various medicinal herbs were cultivated in Japan, and there was a wonderful culture of health and beauty using them all over Japan. And the birthplace of it was Nara.
I wanted to leave Nara, so I lived outside of Tokyo and overseas, but before I knew it, I was back in Nara (laughs) When I returned to Nara, I visited various places, read books, and learned that there is a wonderful history and culture. There are many things that even people in Nara don't know, so I want to connect this wonderful wisdom to the present and the future. With that in mind, I started THERA.
