It is still little known in Japan, and it is a tropical honey of the harinashi bee (from Malaysia).
It is a sweet, sour and smooth honey with propolis naturally dissolved.
It is a hundred flower nectar mainly made from the flowers of fruit trees collected in orchards.
It is a honey that tastes like fruit vinegar with a slightly strong acidity and fruitiness. There is a faint feeling of invigoration in the aftertaste. It has a smooth texture like syrup and dissolves easily in cold water, making it perfect for drinks. Another nice feature is that it does not crystallize easily even in winter.
(Since it is natural, there are some differences in flavor depending on the production lot)
Nectar sources: Calamansi (Rutaceae), Star Fruit (Oxalis family), Asahi Kazura (Polygonaceae), Pomelo (Rutaceae), Durian (Mallow), etc.
