< Designer Profile> Masaru Suzuki Textile designer. Professor at Tokyo Zokei University. After graduating from the Department of Dyeing and Weaving Design at Tama Art University, he worked at Hiroshi Awatsuji's design office. Since becoming independent in 1995, he has been involved in projects for various domestic and foreign manufacturers and brands, including designing Marimekko, Camper, and Uniqlo in addition to his own brand. This product is praised by Sophia Jansson, a descendant of TOveh Jansson, the original author OF MOOMIN, as "the best except for what TOve himself drew", and THE design OF Masaru Suzuki, who won the first MOOMIN PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AWARD, is a poster. ＜About the Paper＞ It is a high-quality printing paper that achieves a high level of contradictory properties of good color development and paper texture, and is made of the thickest paper from Van Nouveau V-FS, which has also obtained FSC certification*. *FSC certification evaluates and certifies whether forest management and logging are carried out in consideration of the environment and local communities, and certifies that products derived from such forests (products made from properly managed forest wood). It is operated by the NGO FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®, Germany). ＜About the Frame＞ The original frame is made of pine wood processed from pine wood as the core material to suppress shape changes due to dryness and moisture, and is wrapped with veneer with a beautiful grain and little warping or cracking.
