"Japanese black tea" is black tea made using only domestic tea leaves. Compared to foreign tea, it is characterized by a gentle taste with less astringency.
The tea leaves grown in Ibi County, Gifu Prefecture are characterized by a refreshing sweetness and little bitterness, and a gorgeous aroma.
The rest of the lineup is particular about the most tea, but only Japanese black tea uses second flush (summer picking second tea) due to its characteristics.
[About the season of tea]
Black tea is usually in season three times: spring, summer, and autumn, and its characteristics vary depending on the harvest time. Another interesting thing is that, like green tea, the best tea is not necessarily the highest quality.
Spring harvesting (first flush) is easy to feel fresh and refreshing, while summer harvesting (second flush) has a mature image from there, with a mellow aroma and thick taste. The second flush, which has a thick aroma and taste, is recommended not only hot but also made into iced tea.

▶ Taste and aroma
====================
It has a refreshing sweetness with a refreshing sensation and a refreshing taste that does not leave any astringency in the aftertaste. The gorgeous aroma derived from Koshun is impressive.
You can enjoy it with milk or sugar, but Minokamo Tea Shop's Japanese black tea is easy to drink with little astringency, so I would like you to feel the original taste of the tea leaves straight first.

▶ About the production area/producer
====================
The tea at Minokamo Tea Shop is grown in Higashi-Shirakawa Village, a village with a population of about 2,000 located in the eastern part of Gifu Prefecture, which is considered the birthplace of "Shirakawa tea".
Higashi-Shirakawa Village is surrounded by mountains at an altitude of 1,000 meters, and 90% of the total area is mountain forest.
Tea leaves grown in tea plantations at an altitude of about 400 to 700 meters, which is said to be the limit of cultivation due to the large temperature difference between morning and evening, are characterized by a deep flavor that harmonizes rich umami and refreshing astringency, as well as a refreshing "mountain aroma".
Japanese black tea is made from tea leaves produced by Mr. Yasue, a tea farmer in Higashi-Shirakawa Village.
