APALUZ
Apulse is made deep in the mountains of Durango state in northern Mexico, using the local agave 'Senizo.' Mezcal is characterized by its fermented aroma and mineral notes, making it highly compatible with cocktails and meals.
It's an hour's drive from the state capital, and from there another hour on unpaved roads. Apulse is crafted in a distillery, like a small cabin at the foot of the mountain, preserving traditional methods.
The agave 'Seniso' native to Durango State grows in rugged, rocky mountains with low rainfall, and takes more than eight years to mature. It has a wild flavor characterized by herbal notes and a unique sweetness.
This mezcal is crafted by the fourth generation, who continues the family's tradition and continues to produce mezcal, with a focus on everything from agave cultivation to production and quality control.
