[Thoughts on making clothes] DEVISE FACTORY's clothes are made with completely original recipes that combine the vintage of the 1950~60s with modern methods. Based on the experience of the co-founder, who is a former buyer of second-hand clothing, from vintage, the unique surface of old clothes, the way it rubs, the fading, and the unevenness of the yarn itself, which are no longer made in modern times, are reproduced by specifying the number and combination of uneven cotton yarns with unevenness, and knitting the fabric with an old-style knitting machine to recreate the unique atmosphere of that time. In addition, we use methods that are not often seen today, such as sturdiness and thickness of reinforcement because it was customary to use one thing for a long time. However, we are not trying to recreate everything that was done at that time. Even in modern things, we use parts that we think are better. For example, the fabric setting is thinner for vintage T-shirts, but I want to give it a more solid hand-held feel, so I made it thicker. At the time of the establishment of the brand, I was looking for a production supplier, but I couldn't find one, and in the meantime, I met a factory in Shanghai, China, where I obtained an American hanging knitting machine at a discount, and I was able to ask for production. For more than 20 years since our founding, we have repeated development and have been able to finish it as a material to the present. NOT MADE IN CHINA FOR MASS PRODUCTION. MADE IN CHINA is the result of seeking technology using an old-fashioned hanging knitting machine (made in the USA).
