Karin and Hyakume is a gluten-free karintou that is completely wheat flour-free and sticks to rice.
The rice flour used is 100% milled from in-house rice (specially cultivated rice from Shonai Town, Yamagata Prefecture). The oil for frying is, of course, rice oil.
Since the oil absorption rate of rice flour is lower than that of wheat flour, it is lighter with lower calories and sugars than general karinto.
